The (Japanese: かいりゅう Sea Dragon) is a class and subspecies of dragon that has never made an official appearance in the Fire Emblem series. While data for the Sea Dragon class is present in Fire Emblem: Mystery of the Emblem, it is never used, and the Sea Dragon is not present in any form in any other installment. Its moving map sprite resembles a sea serpent in appearance, while its battle sprite is the same as a Fire Dragon. It can move freely in seas, similarly to Pirates.
As it is a dragon class, it may have been intended to be usable as a manakete transformation; however, no transformation stone that would allow for such a transformation survives in the game's code, and no breath weapon, existing or otherwise, is known to be associated with the class. However, it can use any breath that is cheated into its inventory.
While not coded into the game, a sea dragon boss, known as Neptune (Japanese: ネプチューン Neptune), was planned to be featured in Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon & the Blade of Light. It was supposed to attack with tornadoes rather than breath, and its attack animation was intended to have it conjure a spell with its hands.[1]

Trivia
- While the Sea Dragon has yet to make an official appearance within the Fire Emblem series, water-elemental dragons do appear in Fire Emblem Fates, although they are very different in appearance, and do not possess the ability to traverse water terrain.
