The Nintendo GameCube (Japanese: ニンテンドーゲームキューブ Nintendo GameCube) is Nintendo's sixth-generation home video game console, and the successor of the Nintendo 64. It was released in Japan and North America in 2001, and in Europe and Oceania in 2002. It was succeeded in 2007 by the Wii, which is backwards-compatible with almost all GameCube games and peripherals.

Only one Fire Emblem series game was released as a native Nintendo GameCube title: Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance, which was released late in the GameCube's lifetime in 2005. The GameCube also featured the first time Fire Emblem characters appeared in a game released outside Japan, in the game Super Smash Bros. Melee, which is widely credited with directly leading to the series beginning regular international releases in 2003. Through the Game Boy Player peripheral, the three Game Boy Advance Fire Emblem games can also be played on the GameCube.
