“ | I'm not a cleric. I’m a monk, so... So...... | ” | — Lucius to Serra during a support conversation. |

Lucius (Japanese: ルセア Ruthea) is a playable character in Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade. He is a devout follower of St. Elimine, the founder of Etruria.
Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade
Role
Lucius grew up in an orphanage after his father, a mercenary, was killed by a thief[1] and his mother passed away of illness. Eventually, Lucius decided to become a monk, and during his travels became a retainer of House Cornwell. There he met Raymond, who would become his closest friend. After the destruction of House Cornwell, Lucius began traveling with a vengeance-driven Raymond, now know as 'Raven'.
Lyn's story
Lucius is available for recruitment in Chapter 7 of Lyn's story. He will automatically join the party. He first appears when Nils is thrown out of an inn by its innkeeper. When a shaman threatens Nils and Lyn, Lucius steps in and defeats him. Lucius and Nils will join Lyn until Lord Lundgren is defeated.
Eliwood/Hector's story
Along with Raven, Lucius is imprisoned within Castle Caelin in Chapter 16 of Eliwood's story or Chapter 17 of Hector's story. Raven will leave the prison cell as a stationary enemy unit, and will join the party if spoken to with Priscilla. Speaking to Lucius with Raven will recruit Lucius to the party.

Personality and character
As expected of a follower of St. Elimine, Lucius is a gentle, understanding man who believes in healing the suffering of others, such as his dear friend Raven.
However, he has had his own share of hardship in regards to the passing of his parents and his early life in an orphanage [2]. In the orphanage, Lucius was teased for his feminine appearance, memories that he still recalls in his support conversations [3]. Even when somebody reminds him of his difficult past, Lucius remains polite and kind, and is more concerned for others than himself.

Trivia
- Due to Lucius's very feminine appearance, he is commonly mistaken as a woman by fans of the game.
- Although Lucius does not appear in Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade, it is possible that he took care of Lugh, Chad, Raigh, and other small children in his orphanage in Araphen. If this is the case, then it can be implied that he was the 'father' of the orphanage killed by the Bern soldiers during the war.
