Bow

First game

Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade

The Longbow is a relatively uncommon bow-type weapon in the Fire Emblem series, first appearing in Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade and appearing in every game since, with the exception of Radiant Dawn where it was split into three different weapons. It is a long-range weapon capable of hitting either two or three spaces away, the latter a feature not seen on ordinary bows since Gaiden.

Prior to the games set on Tellius, any bow-wielder with enough skill in the bow could wield a longbow; from Path of Radiance onward, it has been restricted to the Archer and Sniper classes.
