The Lockpick is a uncommon item in the Fire Emblem series. Its only purpose is to enable thieves and other similar classes to open any kind of locks -doors, chests, and even bridges-, in the games where they cannot do this naturally.

This item has been present in five games of the series: Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light, Thracia 776, The Binding Blade, Blazing Sword, and The Sacred Stones.

Trivia

  • In Shadow Dragon, the Master Key is internally referred to as "THIEFKEY", possibly meaning that the Lockpick was originally intended to appear.
