A sword whose design yields frequent critical hits.

Type

Sword

First game

Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon & the Blade of Light

The Killing Edge, known as the Kill Sword (キルソード, Kiru Soodo) in Japan, is a sword-type weapon whose main feature is an enhanced critical rate. Its power and durability may be regular; however, when in the hands of nimble and skilled units, such as myrmidons or swordmasters, it becomes a lethal weapon.

The killing edge made its first appearance in Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon & the Blade of Light, and it has been in all subsequent games but Gaiden and Genealogy of the Holy War.
