Judge

Sprite of the Judge from Radiant Dawn.

The miraculous power of the goddess. Her attacks have myriad form and effect.

Type

Judge

First game

Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn

The Judge is a unique weapon in the Fire Emblem series, appearing exclusively in Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn. The signature weapon of Ashera, Order Incarnate herself, the Judge is a weapon with multiple variants and combinations of effects. Many of these combinations are powerful, including the use of physical damage as well as light magic, yet none are capable of landing a critical hit.

In addition to the variations Ashera herself actually uses, two unused dark magic variations intended for Ashera's use also exist in the game's code. There are also four secret variations used by three other bosses: one for Lekain, one for Dheginsea, and two for Sephiran.

Trivia

  • Despite Ashera's variants of the Judge not making use of a weapon type, all of her variants give 1 weapon experience. The secret variants not used by Ashera also give 1 weapon experience, but they make use of traditional weapon types and weapon ranks (albeit at the maximum SS rank).
