This page shows the preferred outline for one-shot bosses, those who bear little to no importance to the plot other than being cannon fodder breaking havoc.

Top

First, use Template:Character Infobox.

EXAMPLE:

Then, put a quote other than death and battle ones. For this, use Template:Quote.

The next step is the intro. Do not forget to add the Japanese name – both in katakana and in romaji. Give a description of its role in their chapter, and specify in which game(s) they appear.

EXAMPLE:

You there! Renais dogs! Where do you think you're going?
— O'Neill

O'Neill is the boss of the prologue of Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones. He, along with his two underlings, chases Eirika and Seth as they flee from Renais Castle. He catches them in the mountains, and battle ensues.

O'Neill hails from Grado. He serves in the army, and was one of the many Grado soldiers sent to invade Renais. He openly insults both Eirika and Seth, calling them "Renais dogs", and "high-and-mighty knights", and considers himself a "true warrior".

Stats

The first section is for stats. Use the following templates for this:

Bosses usually see a change in their stats if there is more than one difficulty mode. Use tabs to keep the contents tidy.

Quotes

The next section is for quotes. Here there are two subsections: Battle quotes and death quotes. If they have more than one line per conversation, include the entire conversation in the quote. You should try to list ALL possibilities.

EXAMPLE:

Battle quotes

You wretches... You’re not worthy of General Petrine’s attention. I will roast your bones and present them to her as a trophy!
— Balmer.
Ike: Whoa! So you’re a mage, are you?
Balmer: I am, vermin, and I will see you burn to cinders!

— Balmer, when fighting Ike.

Death quote

Urgg... Ahh...
— Balmer.

Etymology and other languages

The third section is for the meaning of the name. A reference should be used, preferably from ThinkBabyNames.com or Behind The Name. After the reference, the relationship to the character's role or personality should be stated. If there are mythological ties to it, they should be listed after the meaning.

For this section, use Template:Names.

References

This is to list all the references used in the article. Every article needs at least one for the etymology. All that goes here is {{ref}}, or {{refbar}} for pages with many references.

Navigation and categories

At the end of the page, below the references, put the banner of the project (Template:Project Characters) and the corresponding nav box(es): Template:Nav1, Nav2, Nav3, Nav4, Nav5, Nav6, Nav7, Nav8, Nav9, Nav10, Nav11, Nav12, Nav13, Nav14, Nav15, Nav16, NavTMS, NavH, and/or NavWA.

Finally, add the corresponding category or categories:
