Intro

The intro is a general, usually brief, paragraph describing general information about the character and their relevance to the plot, without any major spoilers. Things the intro should have, in general order it should be in:

Quote
A quote, usually that they say, describing the character without spoilers. Remember that certain characters, such as Alva of Thracia 776, do not have a single line in the game other than their death quote, so do not worry if you cannot find a good quote.
Name
The characters english name, or romanization, with their Japanese name with proper romanization. Additionally, some characters are known as different things in Japan, such as Marisa is Marica.
Game appearances
The games the character appears in or is referenced in.
Chapters
The chapter the character first appears in, is first playable in, or is a boss in.
Starting class
The class the character starts as.
Relationships
The relationships between them and other characters, such as family, enemies, friends, lovers, etc.
Home town
The town or country where the character is originally from, or is settled in at the start of the game.

Example

The breeze, the trees, the sky, the brooks... They are all speaking to us.
— Sue to Roy in a support conversation.

Sue (スー, Suu) is a character in Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade. She first appears in Chapter 6.

A Sacaean nomadic girl, Sue is a member of the Kutolah tribe and granddaughter of their leader, Dayan, also known as the Silver Wolf. She is also the daughter of Rath, a playable character from Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade. While her mother's name is unknown, there is the possibility of Lyn being the other parent, as suggested by her shared ending with Rath.

General information

The next heading will be the name of the game they appear in. If there are multiple, cover all of them in order of the games' release dates. All games will have the following subsections:

Role

In this section, describe the role of the character in the plot.

Starting stats and growth rates

For the starting stats, use the template linked to depending on the game.

Game Template
Ankoku Ryuu to Hikari no Tsurugi CharStats FE3
Gaiden CharStats FE2
Monshou no Nazo CharStats FE3
Seisen no Keifu CharStats FE4
Thracia 776 CharStats FE5
Fuuin no Tsurugi CharStats GBA
Blazing Sword CharStats GBA
The Sacred Stones CharStats GBA
Path of Radiance CharStats GCN
Radiant Dawn CharStats Wii
Shadow Dragon CharStats DS
Shin Monshou no Nazo CharStats DS
BS Fire Emblem CharStats FE3

Promotion gains

Use Template:PromotionGains.

Repeat these sections under different game headings if there are any more. A good example would be Hector.

Personality and character

This section is two to three paragraphs and usually takes the longest. In the first paragraph, describe the character's personality. Not just in a few sentences, but try to describe every aspect of their personality that is mentioned. Use the support conversations and other parts of the games' scripts for this information.

In the second to third paragraphs, describe how they are related to other characters. Then, describe any stories about their history, if there are any. If there is a lot of information, this section might take three paragraphs in total.

Also, references are required. At least five should be used if they are a playable character, with less being acceptable for NPCs.

Supports

For supports, use the template from the respective game, using the table below to choose the appropriate template. If the character only appears in Fire Emblem Gaiden, this section should be skipped.

Special case: If the character appears only in Seisen no Keifu, replace ==Supports== with ==Love growths==.

In case of appearing in Seisen no Keifu and Thracia 776, use both sections (==Love growths== and ==Supports==) You can see this in Fin's page.

Support conversations

For support conversations, which feature in Fuuin no Tsurugi, Blazing Sword, The Sacred Stones, Path of Radiance, and Radiant Dawn, make a subpage named "Character's name/Supports".

EXAMPLE:

Main article: Amelia/Supports

This page should have sections for each person whom the character can support with. In each of those sections, start with one of the following templates:

Game Template
Fuuin no Tsurugi SupportDataGBA
Blazing Sword SupportDataGBA
The Sacred Stones SupportDataGBA
Path of Radiance SupportDataGCN

Then, order the three conversations per level. First the C level, second the B, and lastly, the A conversation.

In the case of Archanea characters, add a new section to the character's page, ==Support conversations==. The reason for this division is that support conversations are not truly related to supports in Shin Monshou no Nazo. Then, make a link to the subpage, which, in this case, is {{main|(Character's name)/Support conversations}} and a special template*.

Don't forget to categorize this subpage! Choose the corresponding category/categories:

Category:Supports in Fire Emblem: Fuuin no Tsurugi
Category:Supports in Fire Emblem: Blazing Sword
Category:Supports in Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones
Category:Supports in Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance
Category:Supports in Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn
Category:Support conversations in Fire Emblem: Shin Monshou no Nazo

Endings

List the character's endings, both regular and paired endings.

Etymology

The meaning of the name. A reference should be used, preferably from ThinkBabyNames.com. After the reference, the relationship to the character's role or personality should be stated. If there are mythological ties to it, they should be listed after the meaning.

Other stuff

A few other things are optional. Other appearances should be a header if the character appeared in Melee, Brawl, or another non-canonical thing. The game should be one header down from the other appearances header. Trivia and gallery sections can also be added if there is something in either.

References

This is to list all the references used in the article. Every article needs at least one for the etymology. All that goes here is {{ref}}, or {{refbar}} for pages with many references.
