Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon & the Blade of Light

Energy Ring (Japanese エナジーリング Energy Ring), known as the (Japanese: パワーリング Power Ring) prior to The Binding Blade, is a stat-boosting item in the Fire Emblem series, which debuted in Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon & the Blade of Light and appeared in every game up to Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones with the exception of Fire Emblem Gaiden, after which it was retired in favor of the Energy Drop and the Spirit Dust.

In most of its appearances, save for Genealogy of the Holy War where it instead acts as an accessory item, it permanently boosts a user's Strength stat when used, by anywhere from 2 to 5 points depending on the game; the Energy Ring also increases Magic in the GBA games where Strength and Magic are essentially the same stat. Its capabilities in the GBA games make the Energy Ring a successor to the Magic Ring from the two prior installments in this regard.

The Energy Ring is one of three stat booster items to appear in the Jugdral games that had already existed prior to Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War, the others being the Magic Ring and the Speed Ring. It is also one of two Jugdrali stat boosters not retired after Fire Emblem: Thracia 776, the other being the Body Ring.
