Not to be confused with the dark magic from other games in the series.

Black magic is a weapon type in the Fire Emblem series apparing exclusively in Fire Emblem Gaiden. It is comprised of the game's offensive spells. Spells not exclusive to Gaiden appear as other types of magic in other games in the series. Despite the name, two black magic spells appear in other games of the series as light magic tomes.
