Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade

Apocalypse (アポカリプス, Apokaripusu), the "Darkness of Oblivion*" (黙示の闇, Revealing Darkness), is one of the Divine Weapons of Elibe. Forged to combat dragons in The Scouring, it was the weapon of Bramimond of the Eight Generals, who sealed it away after the war in the deepest chambers of the Shrine of Seals[1] wherein Bramimond itself resided until its death.

According to Milady, rumours of the existence of Apocalypse and of its purpose as a defence mechanism for the Shrine had spread around the army of Bern[2]. By the time Roy's army defeats General Murdock and reaches the Shrine, a detachment from Bern's army led by Peres, a lieutenant of Murdock, had set up to defend the Shrine's interior and the spellbook. After the army's defeat and the evasion of the chamber's many traps, Roy obtains the tome. Initially unfamiliar with it as it, like its wielder, had little known about it, the tome is identified as Apocalypse by Elphin.
